HOW TO GET STARTED
ARE YOU SETTING SMART GOALS?
Your goals MUST be SPECIFIC. Exactly what is it that you want to accomplish? The more detailed and specific, the better the goal.
Are your goals MEASURABLE? In what ways can you measure your goal so that you know you're making progress? When exactly will you have succeeded? Keeping track of your progress gives you an incentive to keep moving forward.
Are they ATTAINABLE? Is this goal something you know you can actually accomplish? Do you have any injuries or other limitations that could potentially make this goal dangerous?
Are your goals REALISTIC? Do you have the capabilities, time, financial resources and physical abilities to reach your goal? If you accept your limitations, we will find ways to go beyond them! Be stubborn about your goals, but be ready to be flexible about your methods.
Are you goals TIME-BOUND? How much time will you allow yourself to accomplish this goal? Remember - NEVER give up on a dream because of the time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.
